CONWAY — It was a rough week for the Kennett High field hockey team. The Eagles fell from the few unbeaten teams in Division II with a 0-4 record in four tough matches.
The hometown flock made the long trek to Amherst on Sept. 15, and fell 7-1 to undefeated Souhegan (7-0 and tied for first in DII), and less than 24 hours later, was back on the road traveling to Bow (6-1-1, fourth in the division)where the Falcons won 5-0. KHS returned to the friendly confines of Centola Field on Thursday and played well but gave up the final three goals in a 4-3 loss to Plymouth (6-2 and fifth in the division). Kennett wrapped up the week north of Pinkham Notch on Saturday, falling 2-0 to Berlin (5-1 and in third place in Division III) in the Mountaineers’ homecoming match.
