CONWAY — The Kennett High boys’ basketball team went 1-1 last week on the hardwood, suffering an 83-56 loss on the road to Division II state runner-up Sanborn in Kingston on Tuesday, and then beating rival Berlin 64-43 north of Pinkham Notch on Friday.
While the Eagles reside at 5-2 in Division II play, Coach Bo Noung calls the record “an illusion,” as his team is still looking to establish an identity. He says it’s a work in progress and he’s trying to put his stamp on the program.
