CONWAY — The Kennett High girls’ cross-country running team finished second out of nine schools in a meet hosted by Plymouth on Friday. The KHS boys were third on a blustery afternoon.

“It didn’t rain so it was nice,” Bernie Livingston, Eagles’ head coach, said, laughing. “It was cold, very cold. We ran a new course this year on part of the Nordic course, which was much more difficult than what we’ve run before.”
