CONWAY — Two large areas of town are being eyed for a new federal tax incentive program that could encourage private investment in housing, businesses and other development, but town officials say only one can be chosen.

Town Planner Ryan O'Connor told selectmen at their meeting Tuesday that Conway has two census tracts eligible for the state's new Opportunity Zone 2.0 program. The state will ultimately select 25 of 54 eligible tracts for nomination to the U.S. Treasury.
