CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine — Walks will come back to haunt you. That was the case for the Fryeburg Academy baseball team in its Class B South quarterfinal at Cape Elizabeth on Thursday.

Played in what can best be described as undesirable conditions due to fog and misty rain, the No. 12 seeded Raiders issued a dozen free passes, which led to a 14-4 loss in five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule to the No. 4 seeds from Cape.
