CONWAY — The Kennett High football team gave Gilford-Belmont a taste of its big-play offense and opportunistic defense by scoring six touchdowns all from more than 24 yards in a 41-28 victory in Gilford on Saturday afternoon.

The win lifted the boys from Conway to 6-1 on the season and keeps them firmly in second place in the Division II North standings. The Golden Eagles slipped to 3-4 and into a fourth-place tie with Kingswood in the North table.
