CONWAY — The Kennett High boys’ and girls’ alpine teams opened their racing seasons in style at King Pine Ski Area in East Madison by sweeping three giant slalom races from Carroll County rival Kingswood on Thursday. Kennett Mackenzie Carr and Connor Glavin both won all three GS races.

Coach Laurel Zengilowski was pleased with how her troops performed given for some of them it was their first day on the snow and first time running gates this winter.
