CONWAY — The Dave Dore Winter Classic Tournament returns to the Ham Arena this Friday, Jan. 10 through Sunday, Jan. 12 with 18 teams from across New England and New York. The annual event is the Mount Washington Valley Women’s Hockey Association’s (MWVWHA) biggest fundraiser.
Tournament income cuts down on costs for individuals playing in the Monday night league, and funds raised through things like the weekend’s raffle go to a local non-profit. This year’s cause is End 68-Hours of Hunger. Previous recipients have been local organizations such as Jen’s Friends and the Laura Foundation.
