ALBANY, N.Y. — The Home Run Bulldogs turned some heads at the fifth annual Firecracker Battle at the Border in Albany, N.Y. The local nine went 4-0 in pool play over the weekend in the 33-team tournament while dominating their opponents, outscoring them 47-1 to clinch the top seed from their pool.

The Bulldogs beat the No. 8 seed Blue Jays Elite from Schenectady, N.Y. 4-1 on Monday morning at the Christian Plumeri Sports Complex to advance to the Final Four. They played CT Mayhem Baseball in the semifinals Monday afternoon where the Bulldogs fell 10-3.
