After the usual late spring in the Mount Washington Valley, the weather is finally starting to cooperate and most of the valley's baseball fields are now drying out and ready for use. Yes, “The Boys of Summer,” synonymous with the game of baseball have returned to the valley.

The most popular youth program in the valley, Cal Ripken baseball, is all primed and ready to go for the 2018 season. Teams and Rosters for the Rookies (ages 5-7), Minors (8-10) and Majors (10-12) have been formulated and the new season will start this coming Saturday, April 28.
