There was plenty of action on the basepaths at the local baseball diamond in Glen this fall. The Bartlett Fall Baseball Team played games on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Glen Ellis Field, finishing up the season this past weekend. It was second year that Bartlett has had a fall baseball team. It was a parent run league with Kevin Dolan and Bob Johnston at the helm. Johnston brought the idea back from North Carolina after seeing how big fall ball is there and parents and players got behind the program. "It would be great if we could get other towns interested," Johnston said. "It's a great time of the the year to play. I wish the Red Sox season lasted as long as ours."The team would like to thank the Goff Family all of the parents for their generous support. Johnston's parents (Bill and Kathy Johnston), from North Carolina, purchased the team jerseys.
