Rain this time of year does little good for anybody, especially if the ground is already saturated with fall rains. Besides causing damage to roads and ski slopes, heavy rain can overburden the drainage systems built into or around homes located in areas of high water table. It’s easy to tell when sump pumps are working overtime but gravity drains are often overlooked. Gravity drains?
