11-4-17 Parsons-The Swift River Flooding

Last Sunday night, according to the Mount Washington Observatory, a hybrid storm hit New England. Two storms merged here. One was a mid-latitudinal cyclone over the Great Lakes, and the other was remnants of tropical storm Philippe coming up the coast.

That night on the summit, the highest wind was 133 mph, with a balmy temperature of 44 degrees Fahrenheit. They received 6.47 inches of rain.
