Where do you go for a walk on the first warm day of the season? I like it when it includes some views, some dramatic nearby landscape and water. Some may not know it, but the Ossipee Range has plenty of those qualities.

Last Monday afternoon was in the 60s. The urge to get outside had its own power, almost like the sensation of being ejected by a catapult. I didn’t care if I had been somewhere many times before. I headed to the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area.
