To the editor:I am writing to thank Nancy Chandler-Brett Beyerle Memorial Fund for providing two of our Bartlett students with scholarships to Tin Mountain camps this summer. Before writing this letter, I asked several people in our community to share with me stories about Nancy Chandler and Brett Beyerle. All I spoke with were in agreement: Nancy and Brett had special relationships with the natural world around them. It is a fitting memorial that the fund in their names will allow others to develop a similar love and respect for our local environmental richness. Anyone wanting to donate to this memorial fund may do so by writing to Nancy Chandler-Brett Beyerle Memorial Fund, R.R. 1, Box 100, Intervale, N.H. 03845. The funds will continue to provide financial assistance to students in Mount Washington Valley who are involved with athletics or interested in nature studies. Thank you to the trustees of the fund for choosing two Bartlett students to receive this scholarship.
