Howdy neighbor!

I’m not sure if I’ve ever made this publicly known, at least here in the columns of The News, but now dear readers I must unburden myself. Alas, it must be said — I do at times feel the stirring draw of the sea, that resistless call to adventure among the distant isles of morning; yes, this historian must confess that deep down in the dripping vaults of his Yankee heart, he would indeed jump at the chance to ship to sea, harpoon in hand, aboard a Yankee Whaler. Call it a natural extension of my love for fishing; there’s just nothing like the feel of a harpoon in your hand.
