OSSIPEE — A man died after being hit by a car Tuesday in Ossipee while walking along Route 25, and two pedestrians were hurt after being struck crossing Main Street in Wolfeboro the same day. Meanwhile, Conway planners want to create a pedestrian safety committee to address making roads safer, including along the North-South Road, where a man was struck and killed in 2021.
Just before 8 p.m. Tuesday in Ossipee, a 79-year-old Tamworth driver struck and killed a man walking along Route 25 East, according to New Hampshire State Police.
