Conway selectmen have approved Bird Rides, Inc., to place at least 20 electric scooters around Conway. Mostly used in cities to get people to places where distances are too far to walk but not far enough to use a ride-share service. Riders will find e-scooters easily through an app, and the cost is  $1 plus 39-49 cents per minute. Through the use of geo-fencing, e-scooters can be made inoperable in certain areas.  Schouler Park could be one of those restricted areas. E-scooters, which have a top speed of 15 mph, are meant to be ridden on the street.

This week’s TeleTalk question is: Do you think allowing e-scooters in Conway is a good idea?
