Christina Fay, the woman convicted in March of neglecting as many as 75 Great Danes in her care in Wolfeboro, on Friday was sentenced to 12 months in jail, with nine months suspended, meaning she may serve three months behind bars. However, the jail time for Fay, who must also pay for the costs of caring for the animals for almost a year, could be further reduced if the judge agrees to a defense proposal for counseling. The high-profile case has been in the public eye since the dogs were seized in June 2017.

This week’s Tele-Talk question: Do you think Christina Fay’s sentence is appropriate?
