To the editor:

We may have recently witnessed a world-changing event: a new and powerful way to wage war, with Ukraine unleashing its drones across Russia. Currently, drones can be stopped by jamming their operators’ signals or using radar to spot their flight paths. But if drones are equipped with a Google-type map in onboard memory, coupled with AI, they can quietly proceed to their targets after launch — even hugging the earth to avoid detection.
