To the editor:

Our state legislators are proposing a ski tax.

 This is no more than a foot in the door for more future taxes. It will be a burden on we locals who either can't afford or don't want a season ski pass.

The proceeds from the tax are to pay college tuitions for middle-income families. An additional consequence is our aging state will get older. We need skilled tradesmen who will stay in the valley.
