To the editor:

Do you remember on President Joe Biden’s inauguration day when inflation was 1.4 percent, gas $2.41/gal, heating oil $2.50/gal and 30-year mortgages were 2.65 percent? Fast forward a couple of years to June 2022, and inflation was 9.1 percent and Biden, his moron Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen, and the entire MSM had the talking point “this inflation is only temporary.” Are any of you still oblivious to this blatant lie?

Excellent letter.

What you didn't speculate on is why our economy is still "doing well" according to the stock market and the employment rate. We somehow missed the recession most economists were predicting. Somehow, all the cash and spending and borrowing has delayed the economic consequences, such that it seems like there is no harm except for persistent inflation (which is like a reverse tax, forcing everyone to pay more for goods and services).

I don't believe the fundamentals of economics have changed. I think our unprecedented borrowing and spending has yet to be intellectually absorbed by the citizens, and those who are in power do not want to face the consequences of their borrowing decisions at the ballot box so they kick the can down the road. At some point, everyone will realize that dollars are just being printed and since they aren't backed by precious metals, they will quickly drop in value. That will cause hyper-inflation. And when that happens, our leaders will express shock and surprise because "nobody saw this coming." They don't see it coming because they have all put on blindfolds to keep the gravy train running on time.

Donald Trump recently posted a video to social media referencing the creation of a "unified Reich" if he is reelected. Heil Trump!

How presidential.

Another "fake news" story gobbled up by the Leftist media and spewed forth by their followers. Put this in the pile of the Charlottesville hoax, the bleach hoax, and the hundreds of others.

A Trump supporter created a video that showed images from history, and evidently one was from Nazi Germany which referenced the Reich. The video was sent to the Trump campaign which posts meme-type content from supporters, and the checkers did not notice this faded reference in an old photo. Obviously, Donald Trump is not a Nazi and does not support Nazis.

This narrative reminds me of how the Russians are accusing the President of Ukraine of being a Nazi. That is obviously ridiculous, but is meant for consumption of average Russians who don't get unbiased news.

Americans who only watch Left-wing, state-approved media apparently are in the same boat. They are fed this nonsense and they lap it up.

Anyone who believes this false narrative should take ten minutes and research the granddaddy of them all, the Charlottesville hoax, where Trump said there were "very fine people" on both sides of the debate about civil war statues. Biden and the Democrats have purposely misconstrued what he referenced to make him out to be a supporter of Nazis. It is easy to find the speech where he made this reference. Watch the entire clip and you will hear him denounce the Nazi protesters repeatedly.

The fact that the Left wants to keep talking about Trump rather than trying to defend President Joe Biden and his mostly failed policies is quite revealing.

I wonder if Stormy Daniels felt old age creeping up on her.
