To the editor:

I read that Rep. Mike Belcher (R-Wakefield) has proposed legislation he is calling the Charlie Act (Countering Hate and Revolutionary Leftist Indoctrination in Education), to ban educators from teaching “critical theories or related practices that promote division, dialectical world views, critical consciousness or anti-constitutional indoctrination.”
