Lorene Miklos: Junge’s Motel closing is the end of an era

To the editor:

I am very sad to see the end of an era with the sale of Junge’s Motel. My parents and my family had stayed there before relocating to there 15 years ago. The Junge family was absolutely wonderful, and they did anything to make your visit enjoyable. I remember them staying up late one night to give me directions to the Concord Bus station in Meredith to pick up my family during an airline strike. This was before GPS directions. My parents stayed in touch with the Junges year-round and always exchanged Christmas cards and letters before we had email.
