Elements of the Democratic Party have moved in the direction of a radical ideology. However, there is something much bigger going on here which is the number of young people paying greater attention to political policies they regard as harmful to the common good.

They have had an indisputable chokehold on social media platforms, mainstream media, Hollywood, and the “free press”. Interpretation of some can mean different things to different people, but it doesn't change the facts. For example, it's a fact that Trump was recorded begging an election official to make up fictitious votes for him so he could try to hold on to power when he'd gotten crushed in the 2020 election. That's a fact. No matter how much you dance around and try to make excuses for your dear leader, it doesn't change that. You will continue to do so, bereft of facts to support your fantasies.
