To the editor:

It is tough to write this without fueling my words with anger, so I will stick to the facts. We all understand times are tough, but destabilizing and defunding museum and library services is frivolous. In fact, the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) accounts for only 0.003 percent of the national budget.
