I used to work in Boston. Bike riders are notoriously pious creatures, thinking they are saving the planet from fossil fuel bullies in internal combustion contraptions. In the Longwood area, several years ago, at least two people were critically injured by speeding BICYCLES. One man was permanently physically limited. Never to be the same. Bike and pedestrian accidents are not likely to make news like car/truck vs. bike. They don't belong in the cities.
