To the editor:

After reading the Daily Sun’s article about the “No Kings” march and protest held this past weekend, I was glad to see that it was peaceful and without incident. I was also very surprised to learn that almost 1,000 people showed up to exercise their constitutional rights to free speech, peaceful assembly and protest. It was amazing to read that it might have been the largest such gathering ever held in North Conway.

Glenn these were locals, there were protests all over the country and this state. No none had to travel far to attend a protest. These people care about securing our future as a democracy. You are right, more people should show up to honor the past. Why don’t you come to the next protest on June 17th, talk with protesters and encourage them to attend the next service honoring our past soldiers.
