The writer commented that immigrants are being kept under inhumane conditions, Jan 6 rioters and attackers of police, being released is also okay with you. So it’s okay with you that rioters did over $30 million worth of damage, and brutally beat police officers is also okay. Sex offenders going to country club prisons. Actually just one sex offender, Maxwell. You’re okay with that also. Then treating Putin to a red carpet, with our soldiers on their hands and knees, okay with that also, providing a laugh on Russian TV.

What a partisan and misinformed commentary. I'm sure the Left still pines for the days of the Biden-Harris administration with our open borders, American weakness, forever wars, high inflation, and rising crime rates.
It is perfectly fair to look back on Trump's presidency and critique it, but how about we give him time to achieve the goals the voters supported?
So far, the record is pretty impressive. Inflation seems to be calming down. Exporters are absorbing most of the tariffs, and American manufacturing will be a long-term beneficiary of higher barriers. Yes, we might expect prices to be slightly higher, but the tradeoff to bring back industries that we need for our national defense and long-term prosperity are worth it. And there are news reports daily about overseas and domestic companies returning their manufacturing to the US to avoid tariffs. This could well be a boon to our economy in the long run, and will likely hurt our major geopolitical rival, China.
Illegal immigrants are in prison because they broke our laws, and some of them have extensive criminal backgrounds. Let them self-deport and come in through the front door, legally, if they wish. Otherwise, their days in the shadows are numbered.
The war in Ukraine did not expand under Trump's first term and likely would not have expanded had Trump immediately won a second term. As it stands, Trump is trying to delicately balance ending the fighting with the world's largest nuclear-weapon power, Russia. He can't wave the Democrats' magic wand and make Russia withdraw. Yes, he did say he would quickly end the war, but he underestimated Putin's tolerance for death and destruction to achieve his goals. But isn't it better to have tried to stop the killing than to refuse to talk to the Russians as Biden did?
Stocks go up and go down, but America's long-term economic prospects look good. Let's let Trump play out his hand and see if it works. Most voters agree that this is far better than the alternative, a President Harris.

With soldiers in the streets, people being illegally deported without due process (which the majority of Americans DO NOT support), the continued authoritarian moves against the free press, democratic institutions and attempts to repress anyone who tells the truth about Trump, he has managed to galvanize the American public into action in a way not seen since the Vietnam War. Real Americans will not stand for his authoritarian actions.
