To the editor:

Conway taxpayers are facing a steep rise in our tax bills this year. The recent re-evaluation of properties saw residential single family values rise by 125 percent, and mobile homes increase 170 percent, while commercial values only went up 34 percent. That represents a large shift of costs for our budgets from commercial to residential taxpayers, and it is painful for many residents.
