To the editor:On August 12, the Fryeburg Fire Department held its seventh Annual Lee & Joan Day Memorial Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show. The show is run each year and all proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society in memory of former Fire Chief Lee Day and his wife, Joan, who both devoted many hours of work and friendship to the department, the town of Fryeburg and friends. Thank you to all the individuals and businesses who contributed trophy sponsorships, food and supplies, displayed vehicles, and donated money towards the event. And a job well done to the core group of firemen and wives who helped put the event together and helped it run smoothly.Clyde Watson
