The staff and board of Bartlett Community Preschool would like to express a sincere thanks to all that participated in this year’s fund-raiser at the White Mountain Cider Co. on Saturday, Oct. 10. Thanks to Tinkerbelle the pony, John Frichera and his staff, Ali and Rose from Black Mountain Stables for allowing our community to participate in an enjoyable equestrian experience, despite the chilly temperature. Theresa and Scott Stearns generously donated a portion of the sales of their delicious apple crisp, and the apple pie contest rendered eight scrumptious entries. Congrats to the winners, first place Roger Marcoux, second place Peter Marcoux, third, place Carla Schneider, and an additional thank you to the judges for your discerning palates! We are grateful for all who attended this year’s fund-raiser. Bartlett Community Preschool is a private, non-profit organization located in the Josiah Bartlett Elementary School building. We have been serving the children and families of Mount Washington Valley since 1992. We provide a safe, supporting, and exciting learning and social environment. Our emphasis on pre-academic and social skills building prepares children for a successful transition to elementary school.
