When an emotion-packed issue like renaming elementary schools ends with a 4-3 decision, the Conway School Board should have expected pushback from the public.

The three dissenters represent the views of many people, and one of them, former school board chair Mike DiGregorio, is particularly circumspect. So when DiGregorio opines on hyperlocal issues like this one, his advice should be given careful consideration.
