FRYEBURG, Maine — The runway extension project at Eastern Slope Regional Airport, or KIZG — the FAA airport identifier for Fryeburg — is nearing completion, but there is still work to be done.
For this final phase, the airport will be closed Sept. 10-30 for all airplane flight operations so that construction crews can work safely.
