I recently saw a Facebook post showing a gas-powered vehicle towing a diesel-powered generator that was charging an electric vehicle. The caption suggested that our future is questionable.

My nephew told me some time ago that local landscapers in his area of Rhode Island are forbidden to use gas-powered, hand-held maintenance equipment because of the noise and pollution that those small two-cycle engines produce because they require mixing oil with the gas to operate. So the landscape company has to use gas-powered generators in their trucks to charge the tools’ batteries.
