The First Amendment has been very effective over the past few months, with a free press reporting on the major issue of numerous sexual misconduct accusations. Professions such as entertainment, journalism and politics have been subject to many such allegations.

While people on both sides of the political aisle have applauded the revealing of this despicable behavior, which they should, many are overlooking a disturbing trend that is occurring along with these allegations. The disturbing trend is that we are seeing the destruction of due process in our country.
