In case you haven’t heard, there is a referendum on the Fryeburg ballot this fall to allow our existing medical shops to become adult use cannabis stores. Adult use raises the age from 18 to 21, ensures safer products in our community and improves privacy for the adults that choose to use it. The new law will also limit the number of stores in Fryeburg.

First off, let’s try to make sense of the words adult use. People often use the label of recreational cannabis to refer to adult use cannabis, and to some extent, they are interchangeable.
