CONWAY — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Steve Marchand believes if you want to do something, you have to come up with a way to pay for it. Sometimes, that means getting a little creative.

Marchand, 42, the former mayor of Portsmouth, thinks marijuana should be legalized in the Granite State. He thinks it could provide the state with an untapped revenue source in the neighborhood of $30 million.
