CONWAY — Selectmen have decided that in honor of Valley Pride Day on Saturday, residents of Albany, Eaton and Conway can toss TVs, tires and other items into the transfer station without charge.
Valley Pride Day is always held the first Saturday in May (rain or shine). During the day volunteers in towns all over the area pick up trash, recyclables and electronics. Afterward, they celebrate with a barbecue at the Hampton Inn in North Conway.
