CONWAY — The state Department of Environmental Services removed its fecal bacteria ban advisory on swimming and drinking water at the town of Conway’s beaches at First Bridge in North Conway and Davis Park in Conway on Thursday afternoon following results of the latest testing at both sites Wednesday.
Mike Lane, director of the town of Conway Parks and Recreation Department, confirmed Thursday afternoon that he had been notified of the removal of the ban by Michele Condon, DES beach inspection program coordinator for the Water Division of the Watershed Management Bureau.
