CONWAY — A longtime educator and a longtime newspaperman have been chosen by the SAU 9 Board as the citizens to serve on the next school superintendent search. The board selected Gail Prelli of Bartlett and Mark Guerringue of Conway on Oct. 12 to serve on the 13-member search committee, which will meet for the first time in January.

Five people initially offered to serve on the superintendent search committee, but Steve Hempel of Bartlett stepped down, leaving Prelli and Guerrigue along with fellow Conway residents Steve Angers and Karen Umberger.
