HART’S LOCATION — A New Jersey man was injured while ice climbing in the Shoestring Gully in Crawford Notch State Park last Saturday.

According to the New Hampshire Department of Fish and Game, the climber, 55-year-old Slavek Zaglewski of Oakland, N.J., fell about 60 feet on a steep section near the top of the climb. Zaglewski was climbing with his friend, Mariusz Markewicz, when the fall occurred, causing injuries to his arm and head.
