CONWAY — After two consecutive years when a majority of Conway voters passed an article to fund renovations to the Conway Police Station but not by the needed supermajority, the third time was the charm, with over three-fifths of the 1,702 people who went to the polls at the Conway Town Garage on Tuesday agreeing to fund the $9.3 million bond. According to Police Chief Chris Mattei, up to $3 million could be offset by a federal grant.

About a quarter (23 percent) of the town’s 7,447 registered voters voted.

Thank goodness the trail failed. There is no need to create the monstrosity pavement mess the trails people cry in desperation for. Leave New Hampshire as woods
