MEREDITH — The “Award of Excellence” was presented to the town of Ossipee at the Lakes Region Planning Commission annual dinner held Monday. The award was given for the complicated work done by the Zoning Ordinance Revision Committee and the Ossipee Planning Board to restructure the existing ordinance in order to remove the numerous barriers for housing and business development in Ossipee.
Then-Selectman Jonathan Smith formed the committee, which met from April-September 2022.
