Through the years car manufacturers have tried all sorts of special editions, packages, and as International Harvester used to term it, “dolled up” trim levels to add a few dollars to the price tag and appeal to the “better than the rest” instincts of certain consumers.

The latest adornments are from Ford who has recently announced a partnership with Carhartt, the rugged work clothing company that will brand Ford’s F-Series Super Duty pickups and Filson, the outdoor outfitter brand that the 4 door Bronco will feature.
