CONWAY — With early season snowfall, even though it’s Thanksgiving Weekend, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, both on the ski trails and local village streets — Mount Washington Valley will get into the spirit of the season with a full schedule of festive events and activities.

The Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Old Fashioned Christmas returns to North Conway’s Schouler Park today, beginning with caroling at 4:30 p.m. as Santa arrives by sleigh at 5 p.m. to choose a child to light the town's Christmas tree.
