CONWAY — Ocean State Job Lot, a premier discount retail chain with 159 stores across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, has announced it will open a new store in North Conway in the second quarter of 2025. The new location will be the chain’s 18 th store in the state and its second in Carroll County. Ocean State Job Lot's next closest store is approximately 30 miles away in Ossipee.

Located at the Mountain Valley Mall at 32 Mountain Valley Boulevard in North Conway, the 38,500 square-foot store will occupy a space previously home to JCPenney, which closed its doors in 2020, continuing OSJL’s strategic repurposing of former retail sites.
