BARTLETT — A Franklin, Mass., man accused of chasing a 10-year-old with a knife in August was recently indicted by a Carroll County Superior Court grand jury. 

David Scharlacken, 35, was indicted on Class B felony charges of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon by a Carroll County Superior Court Grand Jury on Oct. 17. Each indictment carries a possible  sentence of up to seven years in prison.
