CONWAY — What was supposed to be a fun family trip to the mountains turned into a drunken affair that led to the arrest of two Massachusetts grandparents on child endangerment charges.

On Nov. 13, Robert and Pamela Poirier, both 61, of North Andover, Mass., pleaded guilty to the charges in Conway's circuit court. Judge Gerard Boyle fined them each $372. Robert Poirier had additional charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
