Charlie McIntyre keno 2019

NH Lottery chief Charlie McIntyre addresses Conway selectmen about keno Tuesday. (DAYMOND STEER)

CONWAY — The executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery lobbied for keno during the Conway selectmen’s Tuesday meeting, saying that the gambling game is gaining in popularity and hasn’t caused any problems since coming to the Granite State in 2017.

A proposal to allow the bingo-like game in town was defeated last year, but the issue could be brought up again this year.
